RYA Training and Courses

The Alderney Sailing Club is a recognised Royal Yachting Association Training Centre.

The Club offers VHF/GMDSS Radio Short Range Certificate Assessments which may be booked once an online RYA VHF/GMDSS Radio Short Range Certificate Course has been completed online. If you need this qualification please contact Hugh Harrison – email info@alderneysailingclub.com

Alderney Sailing Club  Summer Sailing Courses 2023
We have been prompted by enquiries, and the fact that Alderney Week 2023 starts effectively a week into August   (Monday 7 to Saturday 12 August), to allocate course dates for 2023.

Stage 1                         24-28 July
Stage 2                         31 July – 4 August
Stage 3                         14- 18 August
Stage 4                         21-25 August

In addition, we plan to provide opportunities for private tuition including for adults and Powerboat 1/2 level training.
