Plain Sailing With 12-Strong Committee On Board
At last week’s first meeting the members of the 2025 Alderney Sailing Club Committee were presented with a busy agenda, and no time was wasted!
First items are sailing and social events planned for this year so far and dates to be fixed/confirmed:

( Weekend of 20th or 27th June)
Message from Les Stewart who is organising and coordinating this rally:
“We will arrange the Rally potentially on two week-ends in June commencing the Friday from Alderney; either 20th June or 27th June, hoping that one of them will present suitable weather/sea conditions I will monitor these and advise my view. As always final decision is with captains.
We will motor first to Dielette for lunch and stay the night in hotels or on boats. Some may choose to return to Alderney after lunch or the next day.
For those who wish to, we will proceed on round to Carteret the next day and stay there a night or two in hotels or on boats. I will join that group on Impala.
Please email info@alderneysailingclub.com copied to myself whether these dates are possible for you and whether you will go to both ports.
Robert Stingemore and I will circulate Useful Information on the two marinas and towns.”
