As this year’s Alderney Regatta has had to be cancelled, you may wish to take part in the popular Polygon Alderney Race taking place this weekend 17 & 18 August.
You would be most welcome.
THE EVENT
The Event comprises of two races:-
Race 1 is a Pursuit Race from Guernsey to Alderney on Saturday 17th August 2024; Race 2 is a Race from Alderney to Guernsey on Sunday 18th August 2024
Both races are included in the GYC entry for the season at no additional fee
ORGANISING AUTHORITY
The Organising Authority is the Guernsey Yacht Club LBG (GYC). More details on the NOTICE OF RACE below.
You will note that there is a free bar and food, courtesy of Polygon, at the GYC on the Sunday evening, if you would like to attend and eat, please email your food choices to events@gyc.org.gg independently of submitting your race entry form. If you do not do this, there will be no food ordered for crews.
The food choices are Coq Au Vin or Vegetarian Mushroom Risotto.
The deadline for submission of race entries and food orders is 12.00 on Wednesday14th August.
