The Alderney Sailing Club is popular watering hole and a real social hub all year round.
*** CLUB SUPPERS***
During the winter months, club members take over the club kitchen to produce delicious suppers. These popular fund-raising evenings are for members only and are frequently livened up with a fun quiz and spontaneous entertainment or live music.
Our first Club Supper of the season was Saturday 14 March – our ST. PATRICK’S Night.

***AFTERNOON CREAM TEAS***
Everybody, including non-members, is welcome to enjoy Tea by the Sea in the Clubhouse or, if sunny and warm, on our popular Club Deck.
During the winter months (starting February) , we serve afternoon teas with yummie home-made cakes every Tuesday (except Christmas Day and New Year Day) from 3:00pm to 4.30pm.
During July, August and through to end August, every Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday, you can enjoy our scrumptious afternoon cream teas with home-made cakes, scones and local cream, served at the Sailing Club from 3:00pm to 5:00pm.
Sunday 3rd May 2026: MILK-O-PUNCH-SUNDAY
This traditional annual Alderney event takes place on the first Sunday of May ,. when you are offered a complimentary glass of that famous magic potion, served to you by the Commodore! Saturday 14 November 2026 – Island Hall ***LAYING-UP SUPPER***:
A glitzy night – and without doubt still one of the highlights of Alderney’s social calendar of events with guest speaker and Commodores from the other islands enjoying a great night out and dancing the night away (Live Music) more details to follow
Last year’s guest speaker was no other than Olympic Swimming Gold Medallist Duncan Goodhew MBE .
