Press Release issued by the States of Alderney 29/09/2021:
The countdown to the winter season begins at Alderney Harbour this week.
The water taxi service used by visiting yachts ends at 8pm on Thursday September 30th and the harbour showers close a month later, on Sunday October 31st at 6pm.
The dinghy pontoon will be removed on Monday October 25th although this may be brought forward depending on weather and sea conditions.
Local boat owners are advised to remove their tenders before the pontoon is lifted.
