The venue for last year’s event was the Island Hall.

A glitzy night – and definitely one of the highlights of Alderney’s social calendar of events.

The stormy weather prevented our visiting Commodores from Guernsey and Jersey to join us for this year’s Laying-Up Supper which was attended by over 90 members. After a delicious 3-course dinner served by the Georgian House, Guest Speaker Mark Wordsworth gave us an insight into the role of the RNLI – which this year celebrates it 200th anniversary – , followed by numerous toasts, then the prize giving and then it was time to dance the night away to the sound of Alderney’s AY REX band
