All set for the Laying-Up Supper 6 November 2021

Saturday 6 November 19:00 for 19:30 at the Island Hall

Preparations are well underway for our biggest social event of the year and we look forward to seeing you on the night.

The evening will start with a welcome drink in the Anne French Room before a delicious 3-course dinner is served by the Georgian House team (see menu below).

We extend a very warm welcome to our guests of honour, the Commodores from Guernsey and Jersey Yacht Clubs, and we are delighted to introduce our guest speaker Richard Babbé ,an experienced racing sailor and former Commodore of the Royal Channel Islands Yacht Club Guernsey (1977). Richard is a frequent visitor to the Alderney Sailing Club and is an excellent raconteur who sometimes tilts the hull.
After his speech and the prize presentations, you’re invited to dance the night away to the sound of the fabulous Dan McHale Band.

Tickets are £50 per person for an excellent 3-course dinner incl. welcome drink, and are going on sale this Sunday 10 October in the Sailing Club.

WINE & DRINK ORDERS: Please pre-order your wine and drinks for the Laying Up Supper before 4 November directly at the Georgian House. However, If you are currently off the island, please email for a copy of the wine list and confirm your order  by email.  

There will also be a paid bar in the Island Hall on the night for you to order additional drinks.
