The Alderney Sailing Club is a social hub. During the winter months, Club members offer to cook social fun suppers for members and friends. These evenings are popular social events frequently livened up with spontaneous entertainment.
The Club is now open from 6:00pm until 8:00ish during the week and from 12:00 until 2:00ish on Sundays.
Throughout the winter months and into summer, do not miss afternoon cream teas at the Sailing Club. It's a real treat with delicious cakes produced and served by Club members.
The social highlight of the year and, without doubt, one of Alderney's most glamorous events is the newly introduced annual Summer Ball. To view photos of this year's event click here
The traditional Laying Up Supper will be introduced under a new format, this time taking place at the Alderney Sailing Club on 2 December. Guests of honour will include the Commodores of all Channel Islands Sailing Clubs and more details will be announced soon. Tickets will go n sale end October.
